I designed Message in a Bottle because of my love for scrip/newsprint fabric

The quilt is made up of 9 large bird/floral blocks with a lattice border

The sawtooth border is one piece of fabric appliqued onto a background strip of fabric

Birds Eye View Hard copy I designed Message in aI used a linen cotton fabric for the background. The birds are done in lots of colour so they stand out from the leaves and vines. There is no piecing in this quilt its completely appliqued, including the wedge blocks in the border. The use of the yellow black fabric adds the zing that is needed for the quilt! Measurement: 56" x 45"
