As I walked through the park in the fresh snow it was pretty quiet with the exception of some dogs out in the park playing in the fresh powder

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

Making my way through the park I found a group of trees which sparked my interest

Using this as a foreground I framed the city of Denver behind and naturally the mountains as well for this image

I started to set up a scene to photograph in hopes the light rail train would depart soon

The cathedral itself has been in existence since prior to the purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867. However the present day cathedral was rebuilt due to a fire in 1966 in the structure which was over 100 years old. On this day it was overcast in Sitka which helped create this image.
