I was photographing downtown Denver from Cheesman Park when a storm moved into the city in early July

A line in the sand winds it way into the dunes as the afternoon sun casts a shadow

With trains heading in all directions as they entered or left the loop

The north end of the park provided a gateway to Denver and Republic Plaza as well as other buildings in the Central Business District

Walking out on the sand I was along to get close to many of the rocks along the shore on a sunny February day. One perspective I like is to get the camera close to the water as in this image.
