I made my way around the north end of the lake and stayed to photograph the two moose for another forty five minutes with Hallett Peak

SNOW FIRS OF THE WILLAMETTE NATIONAL FOREST MOUNT CHAPIN I came upon this majesticI arrived early in the morning near Salt Creek Falls to photograph the recent snow storm the Cascade Mountains had received. As I was snowshoeing along, I came upon this majestic scene of snow covered fir trees. Stopping me in my tracks, I gazed out into the wilderness in awe at how beautiful this scene was. (173 657)
