Wolfgang Schnabl was born 1963 in Bubenreuth, a town steeped in violin making history. From September 1984 to February 1988 he studied at the 'Staatliche Fachschule fr Geigenbau' in Mittenwald and in 1998 has worked independently in his own workshop. Today Wolfgang Schnabl is one of the most respected violin makers in Bubenreuth, and is known worldwide.
