A 19th Century French 'Artists Palette' Strut Clock by Creil et Montereau notable stainsA charming late 19th Century brass and pottery strut clock, the dial modelled in the form of an artists palette and produced by the celebrated French manufactory Creil et Montereau. The pottery dial is finely decorated with a romantic garden vignette depicting a young lady and her gallant, positioned above gilt Roman hour numerals. The movement, fitted with a platform escapement, is housed within a brass case and supported by an easel form strut
