This striking beetle was inspired by the Chrysolina Fatuosa Beetle which is tiny in real life but is just as colourful as this pendant

and metallic gold acrylic all backed onto thin plywood which is painted black and varnished

though I should say that other acrylic tends to darken when inserted into black

1cm x w13cm and features a mixture of pearl marble
