the nose displays spiced pear and citrus notes with some tropical undertones while notes of yellow apple are also apparent

The palate is supple and elegant, the tannins fine; nice persistence on both fruitiness and freshness. All the expression of Dolcetto! Excellent with scrambled eggs with truffles, an asparagus risotto, or, more traditionally, a nice piece of beef.
