Glendalough Double Barrel Buffalo Trace Finish: Exceptionally smooth and warmingA single grain Irish whiskey, initially matured in ex bourbon barrels before being finished for six months in ex Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 42%. (Bottle size 750ml) Nose: A softer and refrained nose with notes of vanilla, honey and subtle citrus and oak. Palate: Light and soft with vanilla, citrus and ginger spice. A touch of oak towards the end. Not as much sherry influence as expected. Finish: Crisp and cereal like, while being quite grainy.
